Master's Cash Account

Open Statement

Upon the beginning of a voyage or upon the arrival of a new Master, a new statement will be opened ensuring clean maintenance, easy auditing and proper balancing for each statement.

Create Transactions

Whether the transaction is related to a crew payroll advance, food services, provisions, procurement of safety equipment, receiving cash from slop chest sales, or any other reason, each transaction will include all the detail you need to properly track deductions and additions.

Close Statement

Upon the closing of a voyage or the departure of a Master mid-voyage, the outgoing Master will have the ability to review and sign the statement before it is sent to the head office, ensuring all detail in the report is approved and agreed upon. The system will automatically transfer the ending balance to the new statement as the opening balance for a smooth and seamless transition.

Re-Open Statement

Mistakes happen and plans change. Whether a statement was closed prematurely or if a Master's plans have changed resulting in extending his or her time onboard, users will have the ability to re-open the previously closed statement providing flexibility.

Report

Upon conclusion of a voyage or once the Master is preparing to welcome his or her relief, the statement will be closed generating a report of all cash and ship check expenditures, which your Master will have the ability to review and approve. Upon approval, all the information your head office needs will be provided to them for review and reconciliation.
